Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Durayd Elan, we are committed to providing quality products and fair service. This Refund & Return Policy has been prepared in accordance with applicable Consumer Protection Laws of Pakistan and outlines the conditions under which returns or refunds may be considered.

By placing an order with us, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

1. GENERAL POLICY

  • All products are carefully inspected before dispatch.
  • Returns or refunds are only applicable in cases where the product delivered is:
    • Damaged
    • Defective
    • Incorrect or materially different from the description

2. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by law due to damage, defect, or incorrect delivery:

🔹 Perfumes & Fragrances

  • Due to hygiene, safety, and resale concerns, perfumes are non-returnable and non-exchangeable once delivered.
  • Opened, used, or tampered perfume bottles are not eligible for return or refund unless received damaged or incorrect.

🔹 Fashion Accessories (Durayd Elan Add-Ons)

(Including jewelry, bangles, hair accessories, etc.)

  • Accessories are non-returnable unless proven to be damaged, defective, or incorrect at delivery.

🔹 Sale / Discounted Items

  • Products purchased during sales, promotions, clearance, or special offers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except where required under applicable consumer law.

3. WOMEN WEAR & KID WEAR (CLOTHING)

Returns for clothing items are only accepted if:

✔ The product is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered
✖ Returns are not accepted for size issues, fitting concerns, or style preference

Conditions for acceptance:

  • Item must be unused, unwashed, and unworn
  • Original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
  • Any sign of use will result in rejection of the claim

4. REPORTING A CLAIM (MANDATORY)

To report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:
The customer must contact us within 2 days of delivery
A clear unboxing video and photos showing the issue are required
Claims submitted without proof or after 2 days may not be entertained

5. REVIEW & APPROVAL PROCESS

  • All claims are reviewed based on the conditions stated in this policy
  • Approval depends on the inspection and verification of evidence
  • Items not meeting the stated conditions will not qualify for return or refund

6. REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Refunds are issued only after inspection and approval
  • Refund method:
    • Store credit, or
    • Original payment method (at our discretion)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are refunded as store credit only
  • Original shipping, handling, and COD charges are non-refundable

⏳ Processing time: 7–14 business days after approval

7. SHIPPING COSTS

  • If a return is approved due to damage, defect, or incorrect delivery, return shipping will be arranged by us.
  • In all other cases, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • If a return is rejected, reshipping costs will be borne by the customer.

8. COLOR & DESIGN DISCLAIMER

  • Slight color or design variations may occur due to lighting, photography, or screen settings
  • Such variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for return or refund

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Orders can be canceled only before dispatch
  • Once dispatched, cancellation requests will not be accepted

10. MISUSE & RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to:

  • Decline claims that do not meet policy conditions
  • Refuse service to accounts showing repeated misuse of return/refund requests
  • Update or modify this policy without prior notice

11. COMPLIANCE WITH CONSUMER LAW

This policy is designed to comply with applicable Consumer Protection Laws of Pakistan.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights provided to consumers under applicable law. Where a product is proven to be defective, damaged, or misrepresented, remedies will be provided as required by law.
